Dubai – A Shopping Paradise

Dubai – A Shopping Paradise

If Beirut is the fashion capital of the Middle East, then Dubai is the shopping capital of the Middle East. There you get superb shopping malls and surprising souks, as shopping in Dubai is an incredible experience.

Dubai’s malls have it all. It is not only for shopping, people go to the malls for more activities as dining, window shopping, cinemas and meeting friends. Dubai got all international brands, whatever comes to your mind, you will find in Dubai. Prices there are so attractive because everything is sold tax-free. The best value items are gold and jewelry, considered cheap compared to other countries.

My top Mall Picks

Dubai has hundreds of shopping malls and centers. Don’t get lost in this shopping paradise, thus we will recommend you the best malls you can visit for a great shopping experience.

My favorite is Deira City Centre. It is located in Deira in the old town area. This mall is small and cozy and got the best collection and all moderate brands I fancy. Head to it and you will return with a lot of full bags.

Another good one is Mall of the Emirates, located in Barsha. It is a huge mall with all famous names and brands, designer’s shops got a special court on the second floor. The compelling family leisure offerings include a Magic Planet family entertainment area, a 14-screen multiplex cinema, the world-renowned Ski Dubai and a five star Kempinski Hotel.

The Dubai Mall is home to just about every major fashion brand in the world. It has the world’s largest collection of fashion brands under one roof and is set to become the next fashion capital of the world. It is the largest mall in the world and got the largest suspended aquarium in the world. You will spend a full day in Dubai mall and still, you won’t be done with half of it.

And if you are still in search of designer clothing, handbags and sunglasses then head to the Burjuman Centre in the old town, where the world’s leading brands mingle comfortably with one another. Louis Vuitton, Dior, Hermes, Valentino, Emanuel Ungaro, Loewe, Etro, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Christian Lacroix, Salvatore Ferragamo, Just Cavalli, and many more.

My final thoughts

There are many other malls like Ibn Battuta, Marina Mall, and The Village Mall. But don’t waste much time there, the above-listed malls are the best in town.

Dubai’s Souks are also an experience not to be missed. The Gold Souk, Perfume Souk, Spice Souk and Souk Madinat Jumeirah are all worth a visit. Don’t be afraid to haggle over the price of any item.
